Professional Services Disclaimer

Green Stories LLC is a building design and consulting firm. Green Stories LLC does not hold an architecture or engineering license. All projects requiring a licensed architect or licensed professional engineer are completed in collaboration with registered design professionals, including but not limited to Mark E. Bess, AIA at Blackberry Studios.

No architect-client, engineer-client, or professional services relationship is created by your use of this website, its tools, or the contact form.

Calculators & Tools

The calculators and tools on this website are provided as preliminary reference aids for design and code analysis. They are intended for use by building professionals and do not replace professional code analysis, structural engineering, or licensed design services.

Specifically:

• All tool outputs are estimates and must be verified against current adopted codes, local amendments, and manufacturer data before use in any construction document or permit application.
• Code references are based on the 2021 IBC, 2021 IRC, 2020 NEC, 2021 NSPC, 2021 IMC, 2021 IFGC, and NJ UCC (NJAC 5:23) as adopted at the time of development. Local jurisdictions may have adopted different editions or amendments.
• Manufacturer product data in the tools (window sizes, I-joist spans, etc.) reflects published specifications at the time of encoding and may have been updated by the manufacturer since.
• Green Stories LLC makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any tool output.

Contact Form & Project Inquiries

Submitting a project inquiry through the contact form does not create a contractual obligation, client relationship, or engagement agreement. All project engagements require a separate written agreement.

Green Stories LLC reserves the right to decline any project inquiry at its sole discretion.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including but not limited to design, code, tool logic, text, images, and the Green Stories LLC name and logo — is the property of Green Stories LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
